Rene S. Trujillo was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and has twenty years of experience in the fine arts and currently focuses on digital art in Photoshop and Procreate. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2011 and is currently residing in his hometown of El Paso, TX.
Much of Rene's artwork is inspired by many notable artists, such as Frank Frazetta, Alan Lee, and Larry Elmore. Rene started out making portraits to improve his digital art skills, but currently places a center of attention on fantasy covers and fan art. He enjoys adding a narrative aspect to the illustrations he creates, making them more engaging.
